There are certain things in life that are difficult or impossible to control. Inflation is one of them. Sharp rises in the cost of fuel and food are already visible and are showing no signs of easing. Looking at the commodity markets, as well as the price of fuel, experts predict serious inflation in the coming months.
When I was a kid, Nixon had us wearing those black "WIN" buttons. It was an acronym for "Whip Inflation Now". . . Well, that didn't work. I don't remember if Nixon was actually responsible for that but he was president so we'll blame him. OK, does anyone other than me remember that? I was like 8 and even I thought it was ridiculous.
